Environmental sustainability and green entrepreneurship are complex topics to teach to children. However, this does not mean that children should be sidelined from such important discussions. Children’s democratic participation and familiarity with these topics from early on are crucial for the development active and socially conscious young citizens.

The Green GUARDens project provides ready-made materials for kindergarten teachers to adapt in their classrooms.

The pedagogical sequences follow a gamification and experiential learning methodology. They include gamified activities and little experiments based on ocean pollution, air pollution and deforestation.
